W as a brand I think needs no introduction in India. I truly believe they were the pioneers in designing and styling the salwar kameez (traditional Indian wear for women) to suit to her evolving role and personality
W for woman in all it's true meaning has represnted the contempary Indian woman with their sutble yet strong sartorial sense of being. The brand is well known for it's cotton suits, kurtas ,kurtis,stoles and accessories.
I visted their store for a collection review at DLF Promanade in Delhi and was delighted to know how W has transformed itself with times and changing needs of it's customers.
Surpisingly they had a lot of evening wear (I thought they only did day wear suitable for college and office wear), skirts, pants, cocktail pants and tops. The accessories too complimented this change with very modern designs suitable not only for Indian but western and fusion wear.
My recommendation from W's latest collection: Mix and match
I teamed a white top or kurti with a blue cocktail salwar. I really feil in love with this attire. The fabric, colors and cuts were just right-bright yet not over the top. The neckpieces and bangles to go with it are also from their latest collection
